Brilliant

To be honest I was thinking this may have ridden in on the name 'starcraft' similar to what my one a few weeks ago did - but this really was impressive! I really enjoyed it - the terran bit was a bit dry, but it really picked up as you got further in. Quite long but I didn't get bored of it at all - loved the last bit back in the studio. 'There's gonna be a starcraft 2?!', geez some people don't use their brain. Well animated characters, the mouth syncing was very nice. I really enjoyed it, well done! Funny that decent movies are coming out about starcraft like 8 years after the game heh. Well done again, it was great. I only gave an 8 because of various graphic imperfections you are clearly capable of doing properly and couldn't be assed - I voted 5 though.

Needs work

It's kindof interesting. Loving the 'widescreen effect' - I use it myself heh. The syncing is terrible, perhaps you're not setting your audio to stream rather than event. Abhorently bad with the radio bit I almost thought that was it and was about to close it! Trailers never really do very well on NG, we like content. Your sound effects and ambient music were appropriate and powerful etc. so good work there - got a bit of a laugh out of that last line, 'well need water and anything else that can help us' - I thought of a hollywood movie having that has the final line, perhaps said my arnie or something, and it just ... geez it's poor heh. It's not a bad peice. You might like to take the protruding tounge out of the voice loop too, noone really talks like that - these're just little pointers for your next work. Keep it up.

Kinda poo

The photo thing has a bit of style, but the story is pretty poo. The voice is pretty quiet too you may like to tirn it up. I don't really get why you used a character with no arms, it was a shame because it could've been ok.

As for that last reviewer - I'm sure they teach you it's not your fault you get angry when in anger management, 'it's a chemical imbalance' - well it's not, it's your inept self control, since you're poorly developed people. The good news is it's not YOUR FAULT you're poorly developed, it's your families! Yay!

Meh

This is pretty lame. It's one joke and it's a poor joke at that. Your graphic style looks like you could do something decent, and the sarcastic voice and stuff seems to have potential (well, not original, but possibly successful) so like, try something with more of a plot, or possibly a more original 'joke' that's much less bloody obvious as soon as he says anything. You've got the goods, you've just got to put some time into thinking of something funny (or finding something funny to animate). This one, I've had bigger laughs looking inside friends hankerchiefs.

This was suprisingly great!

After the initial shooting and stuff which was kinda crap, the rest of the flash was really halarious! I love the music too, heh. The zerg party, that's great. Parts of this were stunning, others were poo - you probably know what you're doing these days so I won't bother heh. Excellent humour - I just love that sc music heh

great length too!

Not there

Looks like you've got that whole camera pan and stick generator crap working fine there - but that's all you've got! Use the camera thing to better use, have characters that aren't poo. There isn't a story, it's just random sliding around etc. 17 objects too, bit too few for any impressive work - detail is where it's at. Why not use those techniques in the action sequence of something that has a point - the random stick thing has to be incredibly impressive to get anywhere these days.

To be honest with you, I was around 12 when I made this, so if you wanted something good with a story and some decent action sequences (surely misspelled that) you should at least cheack back in when I find the patience and enthusiasm to make another flash movie.
The camera pan I got from some flash tutorial (can't remember which) and I actually animated everything else fbf/tween myself.
I hate this creation of mine (although there are some good parts), so if you don't like it you'll just get a "Sure, what ever...".
Also, it was one of my first relatively completed flash movies, and my character insight and development wasn't that advanced (as I told you, I was TWELVE YEARS OLD when I made this). Got my point?

Fantastic

I just let this load for like thirty minutes, that's how much I wanted to see it. Fantastic, it didn't disapoint. All the characters were done with frame by frame drawn animation pretty much the entire time - so impressive! This bitching about the sound I read - disregard it, the sound is fine, it's part of the style of these now, use of silence and stuff. Truth be told I didn't notice any shortcomings here. Perhaps during the fight sequence he took on too many dinosaurs, so you never really had a dual, didn't see them until they were dead - but this is clearly nitpicking, I loved it. Went for ages too. I absolutely love the way you did that water splash, tinted well with the light reflecting off it - it was noticed, and great! You really don't skimp on any of the aspects of your movies unlike so many lazy animators out there - it makes it a really deep and nice world to watch develop. Well done, keep it up.

Pretty sweet effort

Well Desperate Housewives is a sucky compelation episode tonight so I watched your flick tonight - pretty cool! Yet again I'm impressed by your hit and smoke graphics, flame and lazer shot effects - they're great! Really smooth, fluid and seamless, excellent. Some suggestions you might like to look into for the next one is to put in some colour into your ships (I'll tell you how if you're unsure), and have some music for the action sequences. I read you took the music out, but I think it'd really pick it up to have something in the action sequences at least. The ships could also use a bit of an ambient hum or something too I spose - not too loud, but something. I know you're not too interested in optimisation (I don't know why I enjoy making things as small as possible but I do) but that scene where the cargo ship is dumping cargo and stuff - that could've easily been done with a single 3d object, not a tweened ship over like 30 seconds or something - it probably made about a meg of the file size right there! Not that many people on dialup anymore so you may not care, I don't know. Noticed the stars in the background didn't move all the time there was action going on which is a pity because when they did, it was fantastic - just adds a kind of realism to the camera movement, and adds to the chaos of an action sequence. I like the detail you go into with your story, that's cool. Great work on the flash, well done getting an award :)

Thanks heaps man, i know there is a lot of mistakes, and ive made most of the models for the next one so far, written the script, now i'm just putting the scenes together.

Really appreciate your review man, cant wait to see your next movie.

I'm not one to give all 10's

I'm really not! So it is with a bit of unease that I do so here - this Flash is PERFECT. The voices are fantastic, the animation is exactly like Beavis and Butthead - absolutely a fantastic flash movie! I can't get across how much I like this movie, so suffice to say, I like it a lot.

Great Animation

Fantastic cartoony animation, with the stretching and skewing at all the right times. The graphics have just enough shading to look cartoony without looking like they're trying for too much realism (which obviously can't be achieved with a clock movie!) So great work there. a great wee amusing song to make a video to too! A well done peice of work. I would hope you'd try (I don't know if you usually do) to animate some other characters besides clocks - think how much better a reception you'd get, and really, you have great skill at cartooning. Pity for it to go to waste due to manys preconceptions and instinctual voting of 0 to anything with clock in it.

I'm not putting my lips on that.
