Heh

Well I just had to respond to the review previous to this, where you say in New Zealand things are backwards. I live in Wellington, and aside from people wearing shoes on thier hands Rand-McNaly style, guitars work like guitars work in the northern hemisphere. A nice effort to conceal it, I wouldn't want to go back and fix it up either!

The character animation is excellent and the mouth-syncronisation is perfect, top stuff there. Since people of your calibre probably don't need 'oh it's good keep it up' reviews, perhaps you could have some head movement etc. in later flashes as well.

This is all on the grounds that you wrote and performed the music yourself, which is somewhat a grey area as the guitar defies all logic. Even if you didn't it's a great animation, and if you DID then it's a really great animation. 'Keep it up'

Originality?

I know you won't apprechiate this review - But hasn't the Matrix been done to death already, wouldn't something original be a lot more interesting? Yes, yes it would. Not the EXACT plot, with just neo replaced with megaman and so on. I mean we all know exactly what's happening due to the Matrix movie, if we didn't the Flash would make no sense whatsoever.

Plus you really needed RATM for the last bit there, I was all 'well at least he'll have RATM' but you didn't.

Otherwise, you animated it well, the sorta boot up thing when he got back up was pretty good.

Blah

Well it was pretty unexciting - I recommend some music. It's great smooth animation, I'm in the process of making a frame by frame music video with stick figures myself at the moment.

But definately some music, and a faster pace would be good. But it's a great start, I'd expand on it.

Excellent!

I LOVE the sound in this movie! Especially at the start, the car doors opening and such, it was excellent. The voices were hard to understand, but better than subtitles - although next time, try using your own voice in a mic. You're bound to think it sounds stupid, but noone else will care.

The story wasn't bad, although I wasn't too sure what was going on at the end either. Infact I had no idea what was going on, but it was still entertaining!

Halarious

Well I've just been reviewing about 20 movies because I'm that bored, and this is the first one to actually make me laugh - great stuff on the humour! It's pretty obvious theres private joke written all over this, however you did the character great, the tooth twinkle was quality and the (probably drunken) shout is all class.

What?

Well I have to give no points for originality, no points for sound. However the building was well done, and unless the window-smash was pre-made I can imagine that took a while to get to work - however it doesn't really strike me as suitable for vector animation as it loads like a dog. And that other guy was pretty accurate, the stick has no constancy at all - it would be good if the stick didn't have parkinsons - and was obviously standing up when we first see it (her?) side on, at the moment she appears to fold out from herself. Otherwise, the colours were good and your intro is nice, don't get disillusioned by this it's not a load of crap by any means.

Weak!

Nothing happens! It starts off looking like there will be no music, and just as the music starts to get some actual action in it the movie finishes! There is nothing in this at all! A trailer is supposed to at least hint at something!

It's hardly a movie

Gee chuck, it starts off good but really doesn't deliver in the 'anything happening' area! But that's not overly annoying because it is quite small, so you're optimising properly good stuff.

It looks like it will be good if you actually finish it, but I cannot vote highly on a Flash that is half done!

I'm not putting my lips on that.
